Sod and Delivery Department
Sod provides instant beauty to enhance your property. Sodded lawn requires very little special care due to its maturity upon installation unlike seeded lawns which require years of nurturing. Water, mow, and fertilize your new lawn as needed and it will remain a healthy, green carpet of grass needing minimal maintenance. We guarantee our sod to be alive, true to name as sold, and in good planting condition upon pick-up or delivery. Buck Jones Nursery does not guarantee the survivability of sod due to conditions beyond our control such as insufficient watering, improper handling or installation, chemical or fertilizer burn, or sod left on pallet beyond day of delivery.

Deliveries
Delivery Policies:
Prices are subject to change.
Plant, sod, and landscape supply/Allied deliveries will be made Monday through Friday unless other arrangements are made with the delivery coordinator. Saturday deliveries are available in the spring and fall.
All customers will be contacted the afternoon prior to the delivery and will be given a two hour window when the delivery will be made. Customer must be present at the time of delivery.
All claims for damaged material or improper quantities must be addressed with the driver at the time of delivery. No exceptions!
Deliveries are made in a light-duty truck, with either a box or flatbed trailer and material may or may not be on McStacks. If plant material is delivered on McStacks, we will send equipment to remove the material and place it on the driveway or street. It is the purchaser's responsibility to unload the McStacks. It is also the purchaser's responsibility to unload any trees or plants shipped on trucks without McStacks. We will tailgate the material but will not unload.
All COD deliveries will be paid before the driver leaves the drop site or material will be brought back to our nursery.
Buck Jones Nursery will not be responsible for expenses accrued by the purchaser for late deliveries should the circumstances of the delivery be out of our control (accidents, traffic, mechanical failure of the truck, etc).
Weather rarely influences shipping; therefore, cancellation must be made 24 hours prior to the scheduled delivery. Customers canceling after this time will be charged a $50.00 cancellation fee.
A property release form must be signed by the customer in order for the equipment to access the property.
Due to rigorous time schedules, our drivers reserve the right to add additional charges for long driveways, unmaneuverable (such as small) roads, and circumstances requiring the Princeton to carry material to the jobsite.
